- Do I need to pay
the entire booking price up front?
No. For the majority of our locations Airport Car Hire
only require a small booking deposit, you pay the
remainder upon arrival at the desk of the relevant
supplier . Please read your rental voucher for further
details.

- I can't open my VOUCHER
If you cannot open your voucher, please copy the voucher
link provided in the email into the address bar of your
browser and press enter.

- When do I pay for additional
extras?
Please note that all addtional extras (including child
seats, additional drivers, special equipment etc) are all
paid for at the local rental office on collection of the
vehicle.

- Is it possible to reserve a
specific make/model of vehicle?
Airport Car Hire will make every effort to supply the
reserved model of vehicle. However, it is impossible for
us to guarantee that a specific make and model will be
provided. If the make/model of vehicle that you booked is
not available then the rental agent will supply a suitable
alternative from the same vehicle group classification or
from a larger group.

- What age must I be to rent a
car?
Age limits vary greatly. For more information please
consult the Rental Conditions for the car you select This
will be nest to the car type when you receive a quote

- What documentation do I need on
collection of car?
On collection of your vehicle you need:
- your rental voucher (which you will have received by
email when your reservation was confirmed),
- A full valid driver's licence held for a minimum of 2
years and
- a major credit card in the driver's name.
An International driving licence/permit is only
acceptable as supplementary ID when supplied with a
licence from your country of permanent residence.
Please note: Airport Car Hire Rentals are not
responsible for overcharges on rentals where the voucher
was not presented to the local agent on collection of the
vehicle.
Airport Car Hire can not be held responsible for rentals
rejected if you do not present your voucher at rental
desk. You must retain all your rental documents if you
have a query regarding your reservation.

- Where is my voucher?
Vouchers are sent to the email address provided online at
the time of reservation. The usual delivery time is 2
business days. If you have made a reservation and do not
have your rental voucher, please check all spam/bulk
folders of your email. If you still can not locate your
voucher, please contact us and we will reissue the voucher
to you.

- Where will I find the prices for
additional extras?
Prices are displayed in the rental conditons online.
The rental conditions are accessed via the online
quote/booking engine.

- When is a booking confirmed?
A reservation is only confirmed once credit card details
have been supplied and you receive a reservation
voucher from Airport Car Hire Rentals. This voucher
must be produced on collection of your vehicle.
Please note: Airport Car Hire Rentals are not
responsible for overcharges on rentals where the voucher
was not presented to the local agent on collection of the
vehicle.

- Do I need to buy insurance if I
have credit card coverage?
Airport Car Hire Rentals go to great lengths to find and
offer competitive rates. As a result, it is not possible
to have any part of the inclusive online rental package
removed or waived from our rates.

- When and how can I reduce my
liability on my hire?
If optional excess waivers are available with the vehicle
you wish to hire, please note that such extra insurance is
purchased locally on collection of the rental vehicle. It
is not possible to request optional extra insurnace in
advance.

- What is the excess (liability)
on my rental?
When booked online, Collision Damage Waiver Insurance is
included in the rental rate. In the event of the car being
damaged the driver is responsible for the insurance
excess/deductible.

Excess, deductible: This is the maximum amount you are
liable for in the event of the vehicle being damaged or
stolen while on hire.

- Is there a charge for picking up
and returning to a different location in the same country?
Each rental location supplies its own vehicles. Therefore,
in most cases, a drop off charge applies when a car is
left in a different location to where it was collected.
These charges are shown, either at the top of the
Quotation page when you selected your locations or in the
Rental Conditions of the relevant Country.
Please note that any one way fees, where applicable,
are not usually included in the online price. If there is
a drop fee, it is to be paid locally.

- Can I drive to neighbouring
countries?
In most instances, vehicles can be taken outside of the
Country of rental. More information can be found in the
Rental Conditions for the car you select This will be
nest to the car type when you receive a quote

- What is Airport Car Hire's
cancellation policy?
All cancellations must be made by e-mail (to
info@arguscarhire.com) or faxed to 00 353 1 490 6328
and will only take effect from the date the e-mail or fax
is received by Airport Car Hire.
Cancellation Charges
More than 24 hours notice
We will refund all charges except the non-refundable
administration fee to the credit /debit card number which
was supplied for the booking.
Less than 24 hours notice
If you did not follow our cancellation procedure, all
monies transacted on the supplied credit/debit card shall
be retained.
No Show
Should your rental be a no-show (i.e. you did not collect
the vehicle and did not follow our cancellation
procedure), all monies transacted on the supplied
credit/debit card shall be retained.

- What do I do in the event of an
accident?
Please contact the office from which you hired the
vehicle. You will find the contact information on your
voucher and/or your rental agreement.
The renter will be required to inform the rental agent
immediately of any accident.
The renter must take the following measures:
- Obtain complete details of the persons involved in the
accident as well as of any possible witnesses.
- Immediately provide the rental agent with all the
details regarding the accident, which may be of use.
- Immediately notify the authorities if the third party
should be investigated or in the event of injured persons.
- Do not leave the vehicle without taking correct measures
to protect and safeguard it.
PLEASE NOTE NO REFUNDS WILL BE MADE FOR A RESERVATION OR
LOST RENTAL TIME IF VEHICLES HAVE BEEN INVOLVED IN AN
ACCIDENT.

- How much deposit is required
when booking vehicle?
For the majority of online bookings, 20% of the rental is
taken as the confirmation deposit. However, in some cases
depending on country or availability the full rental
amount is taken. Further information can be found in the
Rental Conditions.

- I use the Opera web browser and
am having problems using the website.
Users of older versions (version 7 and below) of the Opera
browser may encounter problems using the website.
To fix these issues it is recommended that you download
